DUTCH TRANSPORT LAW ASSOCIATION

The Dutch Transport Law Association (since 1905) is committed to promoting interest and quality within transport law, both public and private. This includes all modes of transport – sea, inland waterway, road, air, rail and pipeline – as well as related areas of law such as vehicle construction, infrastructure, insurance, finance, offshore and marine contracting.

In addition, the association is committed to international harmonisation within these areas of law. To this end, it is consulted by the national government and the Comité Maritime International (CMI). The NVV keeps its members abreast of developments in the field, facilitates DTLA with participation in advisory committees, supports academic activities and regularly organises knowledge and network meetings.
